Description :
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the notification for Air Force Common Admission Test 2 on the official website afcat.cdac.in. The detailed notification is available in Employment News May (25-31) 2024. A total of 317 vacancies expected to be filled for Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), Ground Duty (Non-Technical) and Flying branches. Candidates can apply online from 30 May and the last date of application will be 28 June 2024. Applications will also be invited for NCC Special Entry Scheme (for Flying Branch). The online application for appearing in the examination has started from 01 December. The last date for submission of applications is December 30. The exam date will be announced in the notification. The course will commence in January 2025.

Other Information :
During training at Air Force Academy (AFA), candidates are offered a stipend. The stipend offered to candidates during training is INR 56,100 per month (Starting at pay level 10). After completing the training, AFCAT salary is fixed at the pay matrix of Commissioned Officers in the first cell of Level 10.
