AFCAT 2 Registration 2021 begins: Apply for 334 vacancies for IAF Commissioned Officers

Description :

Indian Air Force has invited applications from eligible candidates to be part of this elite force as Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. The online application process for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT- 02/2021) has started on the official website. As per the official IAF AFCAT information bulletin, the AFCAT examination will be conducted on August 28, August 29, and August 30. The IAF AFCAT 2021 recruitment process is being held to fill a total of 334 vacancies.


Eligibility Criteria :

20 to 24 years as of 01 July 2022 i.e., born between 02 July 1998 to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive). The upper age limit for candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years i.e., born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2002 (both dates inclusive). Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and Candidates who have cleared the Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Aspirants for IAF are required to apply online by using the link https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in, or https://afcat.cdac.in. Aadhaar Card is mandatory for online registration.
