Description :
The Indian Air Force has released the notification to recruit unmarried male/female candidates as Agniveervayu (Musicians) through a recruitment rally. Its distinct rank in IAF is different from other existing ranks, offered for only a designated period. Candidates who wish to participate in the recruitment rally need to register for the rally on the web portal of IAF Agnipath Vayu. Registration for the rally will begin from 22 May 2024 till 5 June 2024.
Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates born between 2 January 2004 and 2 July 2007 can register. Candidates must have passed the Class 10th or equivalent course with minimum passing marks from any recognized board and school. Candidates should be proficient in singing one song in one go with accurate tempo & pitch. Candidates must be able to perform any preparatory tune and any of the notations mentioned in the notification. Candidates must be proficient in playing any one instrument given in List A or B in the notification.
Other Information :
The eligible candidates would go through a selection process held at a recruitment rally scheduled from 3 July 2024 to 12 July 2024. The Recruitment rally for the IAF Agniveer Vayu recruitment will commence at 3 ASC C/ O AF Stn Kanpur and 7 AS, No. 1 Cubbon Road, Bengaluru on the scheduled date. Experience certificate of Grade 5th or equivalent or above in the mentioned instrument from a recognized music institute. OR Certificates of participating or wards at various music events. OR Diploma or equivalent certificate in the music field for candidates performing Carnatic Classical or Hindustani music from any recognized industry.
