Description :
The Indian Navy is seeking applications from Indian Nationals for the engagement of ‘Tradesman Mate’ (TMM) at various units of Headquarters Andaman and Nicobar Command. As per the Indian Navy Recruitment 2023 official notification, the hiring will be made for 362 open vacancies which are classified into Tradesman Mate (338) and Tradesman Mate for NAD, Dollygunj (24). There are 52 ITI trades who are qualified to apply for the above-mentioned position. The distribution of openings in various categories may alter during the recruitment process as the overall number of vacancies fluctuates (increases/decreases).
Eligibility Criteria :
The age range for interested and eligible applicants would be 18 to 25 years old as of the closing date of application submission.
Other Information :
The appointed candidates normally will have to serve in the units under the administrative control of Andaman and Nicobar Command, in Naval Units/ formations as per administrative requirements. The test will last for 02 (two) hours. The exact day, time, and location of the test will be sent to applicants via their registered cellphone number/email ID. The candidates must bring a print of the admit card to the written examination venue, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination. Candidates who arrive beyond the reporting time given on the Admit Card/call letter of Examination will not be allowed to take the examination.
