The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) is conducting recruitment for the position of Trainee Engineer ( Electronics) on behalf of its wholly owned subsidiary, PowerTel. This initiative aims to attract bright and dynamic engineering graduates specializing in electronics. As one of the largest transmission utilities in the world, POWERGRID’s subsidiary PowerTel excels in providing advanced telecom services.POWERGRID, a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power, invites applications for the position of Trainee Engineer (Electronics) in its wholly owned subsidiary PowerTel, offering a challenging and rewarding career for engineering graduates in the electronics domain.
Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must have Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electronics or related disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA
Other Information :
The selection process for the Trainee Engineer (Electronics) position at PowerTel involves multiple stages. Candidates must have a valid GATE 2024 score in the corresponding paper (Electronics and Communication – EC). Shortlisted applicants will proceed to a Behavioral Assessment, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. The final merit list will be prepared based on the weightage of GATE 2024 marks (85%), Group Discussion (3%), and Personal Interview (12%).
